Located on the Franz-Josefs-Höhe, immediately opposite the Grossglockner, the Wilhelm Swarowski Observation Tower provides a unique view into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Tower's impressive glass architecture and its powerful Swarowski optical instruments make it ideal for this purpose.
Besides the spectacular world of the high mountains another top attraction is observing the truly impressive animal world of the National Park (ibexes and marmots are particularly common around the Observation Tower). Attached to the Tower are a shop and a restaurant.
